Almost 80 feet below the rim of Montezumas Well iss this stone house of Pueblo. It is all most at the waters edge and well protected from the harsh summer heat and monsoon storms.
The petroglyphs at this site in the Verde Valley are from A.D. 900-1300. The 1300 plus petroglyphs  include many clan markings as well as a solar seasonal calendar.
Carful study of this wall reveals three distinct methods of construction---why or when is anyones guess.
There are many pictographs and a few petroglyphs at the Honanki Ruins.It is thought that some go back before the Senagua settled here.
