Dry Land Pasture
A dry-land pasture in a sandy area of the Cross Timbers region of Texas. This location on FM 1864 in Callahan County near Scranton hosts prickly pear and other cactus, native live oak and post oak trees and invasive mesquite trees brought to the area by cattle drives more than a century ago. Shot with an Olympus E-620 and M.Zuiko 14-42mm f/5-5.6. Raw conversion via PictureCode Photo Nina 1.2.4d via Lightroom 5.6. Post processing in Photoshop CC 2015, Topaz Adjust 5 and Topaz B&W Effects 2 (Hand Tinted Chiffon) applied at layer opacity of 80%.
