The seat of the Titans
During my stay in the mountains in Graubünden I could take this picture of some mountains of the Alps while a storm was approaching. The first thing I thought was this must be the seat of the Titans. In Greek mythology, the Titans were a race of great and powerful deities, who ruled the world during the legendary "Golden Era".
As I looked at these peaks a terrible rumbling was through the valleys. The storm had already begun! It was dark and gloomy and the rumbling grew louder. Several valleys were in front of me and it was like the rumble conquer a valley to the other. The end of the light came, and I knew it … and then a rumble, rumble in depth. The storm was coming!
As soon as I had this thought as a big noise raised: Another loud rumble that seemed to come from great depths and trembled in the stones and rocks of the mountains. Then came a blare as echo and again a rumble like a great horn was blown. And there they were, the Titans ...
