Days 41 - 42 - A Trip Home
For 10 days I wasn't able to walk in Stewart Lake every day. We traveled back to Pennsylvania, our home state. We went to Moraine State Park, near my hometown of Butler. The Lake Arthur is the flooded remains of a glacial lake that once stretched over much of western PA thousands of years ago. Just by chance they recreated part of the original lake the same year I was born, and I've been going there all my life. You could say I've felt it was always part of me.
Even though my father lives just off the eastern side of the lake in Prospect, we thought it would be a great idea to rent a cabin by the lake. So basically, for a whole week I got to spend time with friends, family, and also at the lake. I was still able to get my walks in every single day, sometimes late at night. Words cannot express how recharged I feel as I write this.
I've just returned home, and this is just the first of many, many photos I need to process and write about. This may take a while.
