1181 - Old Clam House
Notable for its vintage ad on the outside of the restaurant, the Old Clam House on Bayshore Blvd is in this awesome old building.
Apparently there since 1861, the ad captures a period when San Francisco "steam" beer (named because of the high carbonation of the style) was the dominant local style. Now, pretty much the only major brewery making steam beer is Anchor (about two miles north in Potrero).
