The power and majesty of the 9f loco is seen to good effect at Horsted Keynes.
In the front row: Bluebell barman Lloyd; Sally; Amanda; Rita; Bluebell Barman Jacob
In the back row: Barry; Neal (me); Pete and his brother Ben.
Jacob (l) and Lloyd (r) were the bar staff at Horsted keynes on the Bluebell Railway. We had first met them when they were serving on the Golden Arrow Pullman, during the Bluebell Railway opening gala.

Both Jacob and Lloyd were good fun as we were the only revellers left in the bar after the last train during the Rail Ale Special evening

It was about 10:30 by the time we left the bar! - All slightly refreshed after another great evening at the Real Ale and Jazz event at the Bluebell Railway.

BR 9F 2-10-0 No 92212 seen at Horsted Keynes station on the Bluebell Railway. This was the first Rail Ale special of the year and saw us go through to East Grinstead for the first time at night. It was packed! with presumably so many people travelling at night for the first time. I understand there were 180 people and by the end of the evening the bar on the train had run dry!
