This is close to mile 10! I took my second gu then picked it up to put some distance between me and the guy with the white beard behind me. I was feeling competitive and thought he could be in my age group. He turned out to be 60.
Sprinting to the finish!
Clock time 1:50:47. My chip time was 1:50:32 as it took me about 15 seconds from the time the gun went off to actually get to the start line.
In this section I was trying to keep my speed down so that I'd have a lot of power for the last half of the race.
This picture and the next is very early in the race perhaps after running about 1 mile.
