050 Roy from Macau

I met Roy by the food stall in the reservoir stand at the Macau Grand Prix, when we saw me trying to get a sneaky shot one someone asleep.

We chatted and swapped experiences at the event - Roy was there working as reporter for Soda magazine.

I explained about 100 strangers congratulated him on being number 50 swapped business cards and when on our ways.
049 Shalamar from The Phippines

Again along the side of the Grand Canal in the Venitian I saw Shalamar with 2 friends take photos.

The hair and hat caught my I so I waiting a second whilst the finished their picture and approached for a portrait.

They were on holiday from the The Philippines and very much seemed a fun bunch and the canon strap shows she was a fellow 'tog.

048 Toska from The Philippines

I met Toska along the Banks of the Grand Canal in The Venetian, Macau - where she was working as a Gondolier.

Originally from Subic in The Philippines, she has worked in Macau for 1 year where her "day job' is a Jazz singer - she on works on the Gondola's once a week.

We chatted for a good 10 minutes or more, about Photography (she enjoys photography too), the project, where she had worked previously (Manila) before it was her turn to take a family on a trip up and down the canal.

As I walked down the canal I was just keeping pace with Toska's gondola as was pleasently suprised as she burst into opera for the entertainment of the family in the gondola.

Toska was a delight as subject, a pleasure to chat to and her Gondoliers outfit is amazing.
047 Yoppy from Macau

Whilst exploring Macau i came across an small area in Taipa - looking out from the Old Portuguese village over to brashness of the new Casino, which was popular with wedding there must have 5 and not just bride and groom pre-wedding shoots the the ful shooting match bridesmaids, Ushers friends and family.

Yoppy was there I think part of a one of the weddings (unfortunately shyness kicked in and I didn't get many question out due to the surounding crowd). She stood out from the cowd with the elegant sunglasses and Dr Martin boots.

I hope Yoppy likes the potrait as she has already liked my facebook page.

045 May & Friend from Korea

I was looking a a good stranger on the steps St. Paul's in Macau. Unfortunately, there were mainly Chinese Mainlanders and without Mandarin making myself understood was going to be hard.

Then I saw May and friend as they stood out from the crowd and I heard them say to a Chinese person "Thank You" in English which ment they we not local Cantonese or Mainland.

So in I go - they were Korean, very happy and smiley and happy to pose. Struggled to make my understood about project; but, I gave my card and exchange emails I only got May's (on the right) hope fully the blank will get filled.
