Oxford 1/43 Thames 400E 10/12 cwt – note the tiny Ford badge. I think this model should have a step below the door that folded automatically when the door opened – a nice feature on the real van but missed here.

Oxford 1/43 Thames 400E 10/12 cwt – I think the grille should be cream painted metal, but apart from that, this is a pretty accurate model.

Oxford 1/43 Thames 400E 10/12 cwt – Ford's answer to the BMC J-type vans and Bedford's CA was well sorted and only bettered by their own Transit, which replaced the 400E in 1965. It used the 1.7 litre V4 petrol from the Corsair, or a 1.6 litre diesel.
