Blue Series, oils A Silhouette Against Blue A silhouette against blue Reminded me of a young woman Loved of long, long ago, Who laughed at the wind Every time the thunder would clash And dance atop the morning dew. Dancing and singing Whistling to the birds Telling a tale of a story One that humans never heard, Elephants and otters Giraffes and bees Would gather and listen, Her fair skin would glisten Of gifts the animals and plants would bring. Her sweet essence would fill the air Every plant and animal, releasing all cares To hear her sing, bringing all as one The tenderness of each word, this world Every syllable dances within her song.
