The Ring Tower
The "Ringturm" was Austria's first "skyscraper" constructed 1953-1955 at the end of the post-war occupation. It has 23 floors and a pole on the top that flashes different lights for different weather conditions. It is a plain 1950s concrete/steel/glass box, but for the last decade it has been wrapped in art every summer. This year's wrap is "Schleier der Agnes" (Agnes' Veil) by Arnolf Rainer.
