6.18.2013. First of all thank you so much for your nice comments on the sunflower. Many of you commented on the perspective, I was standing on one of the dining room chairs looking down. I must confess that while the color is great, they were actually a very very deep maroon and I spent way too long trying to shoot that almost black color, I finally gave up, Im not exaggerating when I say that I took about 29 shots. YIKES, what do I think I am...retired? Oh Hold on, yes I am! and I can spend as long as I want on one picture!
What I liked about this blue can picture is that we painted this bench blue when we got home from Nova Scotia last summer. Everything there was so colorful! and as for the photography part, I loved lining up the spout with the spot of light that made it look like steam was coming out of the spout.
Well I'm usually not so wordy! but one more thing! Russell and I are leaving on a six week road trip that will take us from just south of San Francisco to Banff, Jasper, whistler, Vancouver, and down highway 1 all the way home, with lots and lots of stops along the way.
