The Cone

A lof people were passing through, so I cranked up the f-numbers to lengthen the shutter speeds, thus rendering them invisible in the shot. As for the cone, it's a ventilation ornament for the parking garage beneath.

Red Bridge Peninsula

This is a fairly new neighbourhood in a city some ten miles from where I live. Although it consists entirely of lifestyle architecture, it's located on a peninsula so it looks like a miniature Manhattan at first glance.

This is a view of the lower Manhattan skyline featuring the skyscrapers of the Financial District and Pier 17. The Freedom Tower (also known as 1 WTC or One World Trade Center), Woolworth Building, New York by Gehry, and the spire of the Municipal Building can all be seen here.
