The preserved GWR Collett Castle class 4-6-0 no. 5080 Defiant made some rare mainline appearances over the 1990 Easter weekend when it hauled Shakespeare Expresses between Birmingham and Stratford-upon-Avon. This shot was taken just north of Wilmcote on the Monday and the train is nortbound.
