"The Chicago Light" October 13 2015: As night descends upon the Windy City, the light from the John Hancock Building illuminates Lake Michigan below. --- A NIGHT IN CHICAGO "...a city that was to live by night after the wilderness had passed. A city forged out of steel and blood-red neon its own peculiar wilderness" - Nelson Algren I was born in Chicago and lived there at three different points in my life. Most of my friends from college live there as well. So it's always great to spend a few days in the Windy City. The architecture is stunning, the skyline is amazing. And despite being the third largest city in the country, it has a sense of organization and order to it that NYC and LA sorely lack. You know what I don't like about Chicago? Winter. And since we're in the heart of winter, I thought I'd present a photo from October - a time when the autumn leaves hit their peak and football season is in full swing. This photo was taken at North Avenue Beach after the sunset.
