The Pride of the Park

Bighorn Sheep

Jasper National Park, Alberta

* When you are travelling in Jasper you are almost always guaranteed to see some bighorn sheep. We were fortunate to see this young one as we were travelling east. :))) This was taken in late June which is why they are molting, losing their thick outer coat in patches.

Priest Jarett Konrade stands in front of the chapel of St. Isidore Tuesday afternoon. Konrade takes over the position after Rev. Keith Weber, priest from July 1997 through September 2012, was transfered to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Salina.
