With the e-Voucher system, beneficiairies are secured from stealing of vouchers.
February 2017, with ECHO funded project, Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has conducted an emergency response in Kanyabayonga/North Kivu province where thousands of displaced people were forced to flee. here, insecurity has limited access to land. As a result, the living conditions deteriorated and increased food insecurity. As beneficiairies revealed, the e_voucher system helped them to secure money they have got throughout the shopping process. Compared to using paper vouchers, the e_voucher system is an effective approach to deliver assistance.
