We'd been wandering the streets of Dover's Apple Harvest Festival for about an hour when we reached the end of Central Avenue and had a decision to make. Do we keep on towards Henry Law Park and the hoards of food and drink vendors, or turn the corner to go inside, warm up and have a cider at the Thirsty Moose Taphouse?
Silly question. I wanted a cider and a bit of warmth.
We found the warmth right inside the front door. Haley (or is it Hailee or Hayleigh or some other spelling I wonder?) greeted us with a warm "Hello!" and asked us if we'd like a table or wanted to just sit at the bar. I countered with a request to take her picture. She obliged and even smiled for the camera.
A friendly face, warm smile and a glass of cider halfway through our trip at the Apple Harvest. Just what the doctor ordered!
