Ninaabem = Husband
May 29, 2015
According to Wikipedia, a Lexicon is: "the vocabulary of a person, language, or branch of knowledge."
In the Obibwe language, Ninaabem means husband. So this is my 3rd entry in Judy's Lexicon challenge. This is my husband Bill doing something in his workshop at home. He's always doing something, if it's not for himself or us, building or repairing something or doing R&D research and work for Americase, then he's helping others with their projects, car repairs or whatever the neighbors bring to him to get fixed. Just a few days ago one of our neighbors brought over a Ford Thunderbird concept car to fix. That turned into quite an ordeal for Bill. But he loves it, and is happiest when he's fixing and figuring out problems.
Bill says that mechanics invented most of the swear words. I can't prove that, but it could be true. LOL
"There is no such thing as too much swearing. Swearing is just a piece of linguistic mechanics. The words in-between are the clever ones." ~ Peter Capaldi
