November 24, 2007 (Thanksgiving Day)
My best friend and her family spent Thanksgiving with us. We drove to Tunica, MS and went to the Tunica Museum and then to see the Christmas decorations at the various hotels. Next, we viewed the annual Christmas displays at Pink Palace Museum in Memphis, TN (sponsored by Le Bonneur Children’s Hospital). Later, our husbands attended an NBA game (Memphis Grizzlies/Washington Wizards) while we hung out at nearby Peabody Place and strolled Beale Street taking advantage of the photo ops. I sat and drank coffee for the first time in a Starbuck's. Amazing, huh? I have a lot of "firsts" with my best friend. She is quite adventurous!!
