A 4am wake up call saw me take a long drive to Haweswater.
At this time of year it is pitch black driving through The Lake District at that time of the morning.
My sat-nav told me I was in the right place, but I wasn't sure, at this point I couldn't even tell I was right beside the reervoir.
Sunrise wasn't for another hour so I decided to take the opportunity to get some shut eye.
40 Minutes later I awoke to the sound of deer calling from the other side of the reservoir. I hopped out of the car and was in awe of my surroundings.
I grabbed my gear and made my way up the hillside to set up the shot.
As the sun crested over the mountainside and lit up the opposite hills with a bright red colour, I knew this day was going to be good one.
