"Let this coming year be better than all the others. Vow to do some of the things you've always wanted to do but couldn't find the time. Call up a forgotten friend. Drop an old grudge, and replace it with some pleasant memories. Vow not to make a promise you don't think you can keep. Walk tall, and smile more. You'll look ten years younger. Don't be afraid to say, 'I love you'. Say it again. They are the sweetest words in the world." ~ Ann Landers
Two days away from a new year.....
This was one of my favorite art pieces in the museum and I did get a shot of the entire door. I captured this while looking through the door and liked the blue in the background from the outside, as it was almost dark.
"The National Ornamental Metal Museum is the only institution in the United States devoted exclusively to the preservation and promotion of fine metalwork. Unlike ordinary museums, it isn’t just a place where art is displayed; it’s a place where art is made. At the Metal Museum you can see works of art, see artists work, learn the craft and craft the art." (Reprinted text from the official website here: http://www.metalmuseum.org)
