Purple Donkey Orchid, Purple Diuris [Diuris punctata]
Flowering time: October, November
Habitat: Widespread, disjunct populations occur in lowland areas, on grassland, open heathland and grassy woodland, usually favouring loam soils.
Known sites: Fernbank, Bengworden, Marlo, Genoa
Notes: Can be locally common at a few sites, probably was once widespread on the Gippsland Plains but now rare because of habitat depletion.
Status: VULNERABLE in Victoria
