Blue Shark (Prionace glauca) and Wandering Albatross (Diomedea exulans)
There are few moments in nature that you look back on and think, "did that really happen"? Those are still my thoughts when I was photographing Wandering Albatross off the coast of the South Island, New Zealand, and a Blue Shark came to investigate. I'll never forget the unearthly shine and the shark's skin as it surfaced. This is the only photography I got of both of the beautiful creatures together. Neither was interested in hurting one another; they were both just posturing for the same food.
