"Not all of us need to spend every second of our lives trying to get somewhere other than where we are. Not all of us have to grab the brass ring on the carousel. Some of us just like to go around and enjoy the ride." ~ Barbara Freethy

Last, but certainly not least, congratulations (see yesterday's commentary) to my alma mater's football team (Mississippi Valley State University) for their victory over Jackson State University Saturday - breaking a 20 year losing streak to JSU. Since then, I've ran into several MVSU supporters and we had a great time conversing about the game and basking in the sweet taste of victory. I also ran into several JSU supporters, whom I conversed with and fed "crow" (figuratively speaking, of course). They were all "good sports."
Have a marvelous Monday!
