This is one of my most fave shots of Grandad's. When I first saw the slide I was in wow mode; I have re-scanned this in 2017 as my original scan when I first started this project was not very good. I feel this photo should be in some sort of historical book.
I think photography is so important as it's someone's legacy that needs preserving. Grandad is no longer here to tell us his thoughts as he took this shot, but the photo speaks for him and what captured his attention. It is a photo I would have composed myself.
There is no sate on the slide, but looks like the power station is still operating as an industry when Grandad took this photo.
