Just Chillin' & Taking in Nature's Glory
October 20, 2014
Bill and I walked (climbed in some cases) down to get a better view of the Colorado River behind the Glen Canyon Dam overlook near Page, Arizona. As we were making our trek closer to the river, I noticed these two young men who had abandoned the path, and had climbed up on the rocks to enjoy the view. They did have a great view and they seemed very relaxed as they talked and took photos of the river and just "chilled out."
Thank you for all your comments yesterday on another of my Upper Antelope Canyon shots. You all keep me focused on bettering my skills. Thank you.
I'm leaving on a jet plane (remember that song?) this morning for another week-long business trip away from home & hubby. Sigh.
I'll do my best to comment while I'm living in the hotel, customer meetings, late nights......I can say though that Smugmug will be the highlights of my evenings while I'm away.
I'm already looking forward to the flight home on Friday, sadly though Bill is traveling for work this week too but he won't be home until Sunday evening. Oh well, such is the life of the road warriors - Barr61 understands.
Have a great week my friends!
"It's really important to have balance, spend some time in nature, go to a few parties, enjoy my friends and really chill out." ~Joakim Noah
Have a "chill-out" sort of day today my friends!
