Sea Statue of Achziv
This large scale steel and concrete statue, overlooking the Achziv shore line at the northern coast of Israel, was erected in the 70's by artist Yechiel Shemi, who lived in the area, to honour and memory of immigrants to Israel.
this is the rocky part of this shoreline, with a short stretch of sand dune to the north, and than the grottos at Rosh Hanikra - the which cliff on the right horizon.
the whole shot is a nature reserve. the water here is pure and clean with almost no pollution, and sea life is abundant - fishing is only allowed by pole.
