"If you have a mom, there is nowhere you are likely to go where a prayer has not already been. ~ Robert Brault, rbrault.blogspot.com

Dale Chihuly never disappoints!!! An encounter with Dale Chihuly's works is always a spectacular reminder that glass is not just something to see through or drink out of.
This is the rotated version of "Wild Poppy Persian Pair" glass art by Dale Chihuly (2011). It featured a price tag of $6,100.00.

"Q" is for Quintessential Queens, because all mothers are queens! Happy Mother's Day to ALL women!!! Believe it or not; we are nurturers by nature and in some way, either biological or spiritual mothers, surrogate mothers, mother-figures, Godmothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, aunts, sisters, cousins, sister-friends, and mentors.
"The Wild Poppy Persian Pair is a rush of sumptuous golden orange and oxidized browns. The addition of a reduction color, applied to both elements of this two-piece composition, creates a zephyr of shimmer that lends this 2011 Studio Edition an ‘exotic’ quality. The contrasting deep blue lip wrap emphasizes the expressive lines recurrent in Chihuly’s classic Persian form. Measuring approximately eleven inches across, this signed handblown work is presented in a Plexiglas vitrine. The Wild Poppy Persian Pair offers an enduring perpetuation of the past reflected in a contemporary sculpture." ~ Reprinted Text from DC's PP
