Sixth Street is closed due to a construction project restoring Kids Creek to a more natural state around the campus, which includes creating more green space, allowing better fish passage and enhance wildlife and aquatic habitat. The $3 million project will include park-like space with a picnic area, fish viewing platforms, two street bridges, pedestrian paths, and a more natural meandering path will add nearly 300 feet to the existing channel.
