"PORTLAND HEAD III (2017) by Rita D. Warnock
"Lighthouses don’t go running all over an island looking for boats to save; they just stand there shining." ~ Anne Lamott
One of my favorites.....
Surprisingly, Rita Warnock is a resident of Madison, Mississippi. She is a member of the Craftsmen Guild of Mississippi and the Pine Belt Quilters of Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
"Quilted art is my passion. I take smashingly beautiful fabrics, cut them into very small pieces and rearrange those pieces to create wonderful new works of art. Ideas come from nature, people and architecture and my eyes are always open to new possibilities for a quilt. Some quilts are recollections of childhood memories; others I create from travel photos or other artists’ work, always with their permission. Sometimes I use a pattern as inspiration and make changes to create my unique style."

It's the day after Thanksgiving and the Christmas holiday officially begins, right? Any "Black Friday" shoppers? Not me! There's nothing I need badly enough than fighting for a spot in traffic or enduring the crowds shopping on the day after Thanksgiving:-).
Have a funtagious Friday!!
