Flowering time: late August and September
Habitat: Very rare and restricted to the Genoa area only; favouring dry open gravelly locations in open forest, often in old gravel pits or unused tracks.
Notes: A very distinctive orchid with its spiral leaf and rich purplish flowers; non flowering plants are easily identified.
Status: VULNERABLE Australia wide.
