Caddo Lake Boat Dock
October 30, 2014
One of the many boat docks on Caddo Lake. The cypress trees turn a brilliant coral orange. That color against the moss is such a unique contrast. If the weather holds we will be back on this lake Sunday in hopes of capturing the color.
Thank you for your comments on the Caddo Lake shot yesterday. Caddo Lake is an eerie and fascinating place and one that is very easy to get lost in. There are numerous sloughs and byways all lined with tall cypress. We use the GPS on our boat to track were we have been and how to get back to where we launched. We have heard stories of people getting lost for hours.
I have been having trouble getting my posts to show up in the dailies. Thank you for those of you who look for me and comment
Have a great day
