A symphony of colors

An abstraction of The Aria, CityCenter, Las Vegas.

A slice of Waimea Falls on the north side of the Hawaiian island of Oahu. The long exposure helped blur the water as it poured over the volcanic rock. I was drawn to the juxtaposition of the main falls and the small rivulet on the left carving its own path down the cliff.

J'ai pris cette photo lors de mon passage à Nara.
Nara est l'ancienne capitale du Japon, ce qui explique les nombreux monuments historique que l'on peut y trouver.
Des trésors Nationaux et des monuments classés héritage mondial se trouvent concentrées dans d'immenses parcs envahit de centaines de cerfs.
Selon la légende, un dieu arriva un jour dans la ville, monté sur un cerf blanc. Depuis, ces animaux sont considérés sacrés et broutent tranquillement dans les parcs de la ville, ou les touristes les nourrissent de biscuits.
J’étais en train de me préparer pour prendre une photo du coucher de soleil quand j'ai vu ce groupe de jeunes étudiants japonais, habillés du traditionnel uniforme. J'ai donc rapidement changé les paramètres de mon appareil pour pouvoir avoir ces jeunes dans l'image.

Going home
I took this shot when wandering around amazing Nara during sunset.
Nara is the former capital of Japan which means there is so much historic monuments all around.
National treasures and Unesco world heritage buildings are scattered around huge parks and forests overwhelmed with thousands deer.
As the legend goes, a mythological god came to the city on a white deer so now these animals are sacred and graze freely all around the parks, being fed biscuits by every tourist.
As I was setting up for a shot, I spotted these group of young Japanese students, all dressed up, so I sped up to get these guys on the frame.
