Last Leaf Standing
December 29, 2014
On a recent afternoon it was a foggy, gray day here at the house. Not great weather to be outside, and certainly not the best for photography. But, being a little (well, it was more like a LOT) bored I was on the back patio doing some leaf blowing and noticed this one leaf that was still clinging tenaciously to one of the branches on one of our Red Oak trees. I couldn't resist, and had to take a shot just for fun. I think it turned out pretty well, not a masterpiece, but a simple shot, for a simple statement that seems to say, "I'm still here."
