You Shall not Pass
Had a little bit of fun out on this road that is used quite little since there is a larger road that heads to the same location which is used all the time except for the people that live along this part of the countryside right outside of ålesund.
So around sunset I packed my bags, went on my bike to find a good spot on this road to shot. And here there was a little extra place so I didn't even have to move the tripod when cars came.
as far as props, I used a little blanket to make a hood and cape, flour for the powder you see in the air. and christmas lights for the light you see along the road and the swirls.
A simple setup as far as light, I used just the One flash, pretty dramatic, and also easier for the flour.
I had a red shirt I was going to use but didn't give me the feel I wanted so I ended up going shirtless to get a bit more of the look that fit a wizard, rather than my nice shirt.
Although all this is in the same place and same time (ish) I used roughly 10 of the shots to make this composite.
Anyway thought I would just share the fun I had a Saturday night.
A bit challenging to be the assistant, model and photographer at the same time for these type of shots, but fun anyway.
Enjoy this one!
