This lens flare is coming out of (yes, out) my new 28-300mm lens that I just got in the mail. It also came with a D600. That's right, folks: I'm going full frame.
I set up for a much more involved photo where my 'old' D7000 was back to back with the new D600 with their 28-300 and 18-200 lenses. I shined a flashlight into the D7000 and because the eye pieces were lined up, the light traveled through one camera, into the other and out the D600's lens, and then I was going to take a photo from above, showing both cameras. Make sense? Well no matter, it didn't really work how I originally envisioned. Way too dim. Maybe I'll try a laser next time. If only I had a laser...
But enough of my rambling, I got a new camera! Yay!
