A Nice Quite Corner
February 25, 2015
This is the Blixt & Co booth at the SCI (Safari Club International) show. It was quite lovely and at the moment I took this shot the people visiting it were off to the right hand side, so I was able to get an uncluttered photo.
Blixt & Co. offers premier, traditional, driven pheasant and partridge shooting in the United States of America, and it’s their goal to bring a long-held English tradition, to the majestic American West. Located in Idaho, the hunts are in the English tradition and participants are expected to dress in the formal hunting attire mostly seen in Spain and England.
"I strongly believe that the Second Amendment creates an individual right to possess and use guns for purposes of both hunting and self-defense." ~ Cass Sunstein
Thank you for your comments, critiques and opinions, they are always appreciated. As I've said before, neither Bill or I hunt, but we do enjoy competitive shooting of clay targets. Bill's company Americase first made their mark in the retail world by creating gun cases that could travel on airlines with no damage to the guns. He created that first product in his garage at home because he was flying around the country shooting in skeet tournaments, and he was tired of his gun getting damaged. As the Americase gun case gained popularity it became the "go to" case for all guns that fly anywhere in the world including hunts. Today, the Americase products span many more industries than the shooting sports. Their products include the aerospace, airlines, computer, oil and gas industries and many, many more. They actually manufacture more than 700 aircraft parts, and built a case to fly the breathing gases to the locations in the world that send the oxygen tanks on rockets to deliver to the Space Station.
Have a relaxing day today my friends!
