This is a Sawyer bicycle known as the Boneshaker. It was manufactured in Boston circa 1865-1869. It has wooden spoke wheels, a wrought iron frame and a wooden seat. No wonder it earned the name of Boneshaker. I find it amazing that this old bike has survived all these years for us to enjoy today.
