I couldn't help but stop again at the upper overlook...this is just such a wonderful place...now for the hard part, hobbling downhill on a bad foot...they always say the descent is the most treacherous! :)
The last overlook I came to revealed that there were plenty more cliffs to explore to the west, but...
I REALLY feel I should know what this is, but I'm gonna have to do some further searching...
Alas, I had run out of time and had to turn back at this point...no doubt next time I'll allow for more time to explore!

The creepy tendrils of White Riendeer Moss which is quite plentiful in this part of the northwoods...
Quite impressive considering this is Ontario, eh?
A rather smooth cut in the cliff ahead, covered my the White Birch trees, might be an optional direct route for a future visit?
