Watershed, Warwick Castle, Warwickshire, England
Guatali waterfalls. This 'horse tail' water falls drops about seventy feet into a volcanic rock basin. The water shed that creates the Guatali Falls has very steep sides. When there is a heavy rain fall the watershed quickly fills to it's holding capacity. The run-off water produces flash floods which can raise the rivers average water level six to ten feet leaving heavy debris wedged into the rock walls as much as ten feet high. One of the sites proposed for a new land fill would place trash in the path of a flash flood.
