That dragonfly meadow was popular with fledglings. This was my first cattle egret fledgling. Dark lores, dark beak with that distinctive yellow on the tip. Short, blunt beak. Short neck and feathers growing along half of the bottom of the lower beak. These are the field marks that identify this as a cattle egret baby.
