Carol and I took a drive up to Lake Whitney State Park to check out the wildlife. There wasn't much moving around while we were there, other than a few whitetail deer, some cardinals, and a lone roadrunner. This is a good destination to view and photograph white-tail deer. It's also a good location to spot all kinds of wild creatures native to this area; such as raccons, bobcats, coyotes. fox, bald eagles, and as many as 194 species of other birds.
