A derelict Napoleonic fort in Medway. The new owner is determined to re-open it to the public and showed us some of the work he has done yesterday, including digging out a concrete filled tunnel and jetwashing off all the paint and graffiti to bring back the real colour of the fort's facade. About 25 years ago the fort was used as a children's pay area and mini theme park, but fell into ruin and dereliction. It is nice to see people caring about old forts and wanting to show them in the context of what they were.
