Photo right, 8-year-old Jackson Brunetti of Newtown forms clay into a shape to be used in constructing a Ben’s Bell pendant. The Tuesday afternoon workshop was the first of several workshops scheduled to be held at HealingNewtown Arts Space on Queen Street. Ben’s Bells crafted in workshops will initially be hung around Newtown, joining 1,000 others distributed in January, but volunteers are encouraged to hang a Ben’s Bell wherever random acts of kindness are needed. Ben’s Bells are never sold, only discovered. For information on future workshops, visit healingnewtown.org. (Crevier photo)
