20 Apr 18 A combination of Spring flowers bursting forth and lots of rain falling upon them provides for an opportunity of capturing the plants with drops of water adorning them like little jewels. Last Saturday was one of those days with the right combination of flowers, rain droplets, and good light so I took the opportunity to play with a field of dandelions. I found a spot near a park that had multiple groupings of three dandelions, some about to burst open, some fully open, and some past prime. This is a shot of two of the three, about to open and fully open, as I couldn't find a spot where I could get all three groups of three individuals. But I did get then with jewels of raindrops and in nice light. Only part that didn't work as I'd like was that I couldn't get any good reflections off the surface of the rain drops. This is a rather simple image, but depending on your likes, it could be a good candidate for either a puzzle or wallpaper.
