Once again - here's another classic from the archives and also seen at the Fort Worth Yellow Rose car show, which is an all Ford show. This golden beauty is a wonderful 1955 Fairlane. Loved the color, loved the taillights, and also check out the leather lining in the truck. Also note the mirror under the car showing the underside. It's all pristine for sure - from top to bottom.

Thank you all so much for your kind and wonderful comments on my 1940 Ford "Copperhead" car shot from yesterday. My commentary about the negative 'Guest' remarks seemed to really resonate with many of you, and your insights were spot on. Never let them get you down, just ignore and go on. You guys make my heart sing, and I learn so much from your work. Critiques of my work are always welcome, I appreciate your thoughts and pointers on what I can do to make a photo better. SmugMugger's ROCK!!!!!

Have a golden day today my friends!

Here's another gorgeous classic car shot from the archives.

This 1940 Ford is known as "The Copperhead" This shot was taken at last summer's "All Ford" show in Fort Worth, Texas known as the Yellow Rose Car Show. The red Ford farm truck, the Silver Fox Mustang, the Copperhead, and tomorrow's photo are cars that were at the Yellow Rose show. Bill and I had our cars there too - but I've posted the 'best of the best'.

Notice the mirror under this beauty - she's just as clean underneath as everywhere else.

I have a comment & question for all my friends on the Daily Community: " The thumbsdown snake is gone - but there's still someone that wants to depress good photos- I've been a victum recently of the negative "Guest" comments."

Have you experienced this? Just curious, I get quite a few of them - but I just ignore them and delete. The deleted comments knocks my photos down in the ranking. So be it.

Here's the most recent situation: Day before yesterday (the Red Ford Farm Truck photo) I got a comment from a friend of mine named JT who checks my photos sporatically.. He comments on one or two that he likes sometimes. He's not a member of Smugmug, but he leaves his email address so I know it's him.

Close to the same time that JT posted Friday night I was talking to my sister on the phone & I told her about the red Ford farm truck (because she has one - not as nice of course). I asked her to go check out shot on the Daily. She loved it so well, that she posted a comment from her iPhone.

About 20 minutes after JT's & Tammy's (my sister) comments appeared on my photo - I got a "Guest" comment that said, "JT & Tammy?" - obviously a snide remark.

My immediate reaction was to post a comment that said, "JT is a good friend of mine & Tammy is my sister - what's your problem?" I deleted my nasty remark because it was non- productive.

I've gotten lots of negative "Guest" comments lately that I've deleted, the deletes knocks my photos down in ranking - too bad, as said, "I don't care." Mr/Ms/Mrs "Guest" you won't keep me from posting.

My motto is: "Do unto others as you would have done to you."

I don't post dailies to be the #1 photo - I do it to have fun, and if friends outside the smugmug community comment - what's the harm. I want to learn from your comments and critiques. This is the most talented group of photographers I've ever know, and to study your photos & learn from them is my passion. Smugmugger's ROCK.

Have any of you ever had this experience? I'm just curious.

I participate in this community and experience it as it is supposed to be - to show our shots and learn from each other. Petty jealousy is ridiculous.

Thank you for your comments on the Silver Fox Mustang yesterday, and all my photos. As mentioned before, I learn so much from all of you.

Sorry for the rant - but I just had to call out the "Guest" comments that I've been suffering from lately - and deleting.

Have a classically awesome day today my friends!
