Golden Eagles in Utah. I photographed these Golden Eagles in Utah on the border to Colorado. They were eating a carcass of probably a Mule deer. Eagles are scavengers, after all. The black and white birds are Magpies. We don't have Magpies in Maine, but we do have Golden eagles. One is being seen at the Bath Landfill and one was recently reported in Phippsburg. It's possibly the same bird as both are juveniles.
