These are the real stars of Hwange National Park

No, Zulu’s mane is not 100% black like Scar’s from the Lion King.  But it is black.  And yes, he is one of the last of that genetic breed (lion’s are now almost exclusively Aryan). The original picture as taken was beautiful, but it was a little to gray—both literally and figuratively.  To get this stronger and more powerful image, I used Topaz Adjust ‘photo pop,’ then Topaz Adjust Detail ‘feature enhancement II,’ and finally I upped the contrast while adding a vignette.
