SmugMug > popular > Hobbies > "Japanese Beauty" -- yet another Gold Collection. This one is TECHNICALLY slightly incomplete, but that's because it deals with a kind of stitching that I'm terrible at. Besides, I think it looks just fine the way it is, it ended up even more beautiful than I imagined.
SmugMug > popular > Hobbies > "Baisri" -- Another company I like is Pinn-Stitch. Their stuff is really cute, but it's not so cutesy-cute that it makes me want to vomit. ;-) Their stuff is very elegant and lovely. This was my first from them.
SmugMug > popular > Hobbies > 1956 Chicago Coin Steam Shovel. This game was here the first day I walked in here in the late 70's. It still plays for a dime! You move two levers which operate the steam shovel to scoop up as many beans as possible and dump them in the hopper in a given amount of time (one minute.) Uses a converted Doepke toy steam shovel. Had multiple ratings on the backglass for how much bean weight was put into the hopper. Used two levers to operate the crane. Very similar to Williams' Crane (2/56), but the Williams game uses four buttons to control the crane instead of levers (making the Williams Crane more difficult to control). The beans in the game are Lentil beans. ***UPDATE*** I now own this machine. I purchased this from Jan in September, 2004. I played it one last time in the old barn before taking it away.
